Part 3 - Sadness

Culturally, we suck at sadness. This is the emotion we try to avoid, ignore, sweep under the rug. We don’t want to feel this one! It’s why the shortest verse in Scripture is such a profound one. Two words in English language: JESUS WEPT.

Nate Haines will join me at the table as our Guest Storyteller. He told me, “Addiction was my weed that grew, but the root of it was sadness, loneliness, and not knowing how to grieve.” Nate will walk us through his journey with the emotion of sadness and how recovery showed him the necessary steps to grieve properly.
