Week 2 - Let Your Life Speak

To keep the gift, we must give it away. This paradox is the way of real, full life—and it was modeled by Jesus, as well as Bill W and the 12 steps. So let’s talk about what it looks like to show up in the world and be present for others in their pain, to be a vessel of God’s love and healing.

Heather Charlet will join me as our Guest Storyteller. After another night out of binge drinking, her 2.5 year-old daughter said the words: “Momma’s sick.” This saved Heather’s life. That night was her last drink—back in 2007. Now, Heather gets to show up for others. She says: “All I wanted was to stop drinking. I had no idea every aspect of my life would change. When I needed it most, people held out their hand—now I try to do that for others.”
