When we’re healthy we ask: how can we improve? When we’re stuck in perfectionism we ask: what will people think? When we’re chasing perfectionism, we put unrealistic expectations on ourselves and others. Relationships will never take flight—because perfectionism will always rob us of being truly present to what really matters in our life.

Kara Burns will join me as our Guest Storyteller. Kara had a shattered relationship with her daughter due to Kara’s 18 years of battling addiction—2.5 years were spent behind the walls of a federal prison. She’s been clean & sober for three years now and is being re-connected with her daughter. It’s not easy; it’s not painless. It requires taking off the mask and giving up the pursuit of perfect.
